Does Your Family Have Crazy Schedules? Do you struggle to remember who goes where when?
Creating a Calendar that works for you may take some thought. Here are 2 simple ways I combined that worked for me.
1. Colour Code Each Family Member
On our calendar, everything that belonged to my husband, I highlighted in blue. All his appointments, work schedule, activities, ... Everything our son was doing, I highlighted in orange (that was his favourite colour), so things like his afterschool activities, appointments, ... Everything I did was highlighted in pink. So at quick glance each morning, I knew what was happening for the day for each person in my family.
2. Placement On The Calendar
Placing the appointments or activities in specific positions within the calendar space also helped me to know what was happening when.
For instance if an appointment was happening in the morning, I wrote it at the top of the calendar space. If the appointment or activity was happening around lunch time, I wrote it in the middle of the calendar space. If the appointment was in the afternoon to evening, I wrote in near the bottom, and if the activity was in the evening, I wrote it at the bottom of the space.
(and because pictures are worth a thousand words ... )
Try it! Hope this works for you!
