Important Information
**Parents are asked to pre book their child into each class with at least 12 hour notice, by texting our contact number, Facebook messaging or commenting on our sign up post (on Facebook) each week. This way we have the right amount of snacks, and craft items for each child.**
Children don't have to be toilet trained.
Snack is provided by the preschool.
Parents are required to text or message the number above to sign up their child for the desired class(es) each week.
Parents, please have your child(ren) ...
- remove their outside shoes on the mat at the entrance,
- hang up their coats in the Coat Room to the left of the main entrance (backpacks can come into the classroom)
- and take a trip to the bathroom (especially if the children are still toilet training)
Parents are required to come into the building to pick up their child.
If you are a 'First-Timer', we will ask you to fill in a Registration Form.
Date and Time
Our Drop In Preschool is tentatively held every Monday and Wednesday. However, we do sometimes have to change our days according to the town needs.
Drop Off begins at 8:50. Our program starts at 9:00. Pick up is at 11:30.
Fees
$15 per child, per class
Fees can be etransfered at time of booking, or paid in cash at drop off.
Our Morning
At Drop In Preschool children will begin with social learning by playing in a variety of activities the teacher has laid out. Toys, sensory/science, table toys/file folder games, books, our gross motor area/jungle gym, and craft will all be available for children after they enter and greet the teacher.
As the morning progresses, children will have circle time where we play group games, sing songs, and read a story. Following circle time is a bathroom routine and snack. After snack children will have a chance to continue playing with the toys. At 11:15 we will clean up and sit at the tables for some quiet learning time before parents arrive.
Parent Resources
Our Parent Resources are available to parents whose children attend more than 4 days a month. This includes Take Home Packs, and the Lending Library.
